Economic Development
Since 1911, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce has been helping Southern Nevada become a thriving and dynamic marketplace full of opportunities. The Chamber has a long history of advocating for low-tax, pro-business policies that help businesses grow, create jobs and reinvest in our economy.
In addition to driving public policy, the Chamber offers several resources to our community in an effort to enhance the opportunities for businesses to succeed in Southern Nevada.
Below are key aspects of Chamber efforts in the area of Economic Development:
Policy
The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce monitors several areas of policy on the local, state and federal levels of government. It is vital to the success of the business community to have a presence when policy issues are being discussed. The Chamber is the voice of the business community and advocates on its behalf every day of the year.
